WELCOME TO WORKPLACE TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (WTS)
Workplace Technology Services (WTS) provides Information Technology
infrastructure services for the B.C. government and the
broader public sector. These include: data centre
services, workstation support and service, voice and
data networks, electronic messaging and directories,
applications and service integration, and security/virus
protection.
Much of Workplace Technology Services' work involves aggregation of demand and
integration of multiple services.
Many of government's mission-critical programs and
services, such as court operations, fire protection,
emergency dispatch and Pharmanet, require support from
one or more of Workplace Technology Services' services. Workplace Technology Services is also
developing service to support e-government.
